How do you make a line graph on Excel 2008 for mac?

I have to make a line graph for my science class, it has to be about mass and volume, this is what the instructions say:
Construct a line graph with your water data, with mass on the Y axis and volume on the X axis.

So i go to excel and i write the volume on cell A 1-4, then the mass on cell B 1-4. I select only the cells with #s and choose make a chart. A few charts appear at the top of the page, on top of that there are ovals that say ‘All’ ‘Area’ ‘Bar’ ‘Bubble’ and so on. I choose line. Seven charts appear and i choose the third one. A line graph automatically appears but not the way I want it.

I want the Volume at the bottom and the mass on the side but i cant do it. HOW CAN I DO IT?????

I don’t know Excel 2008 for mac (I’m a PC guy), but I do know that you want to make an XY Scatter chart subtype data points with connected lines and not a “Line” chart.
