how much does wal-mart sell those cheap motorcycle helmets for?
the ones that are just plain white/black.
i just need to get a helmet as cheap as possible to last until my “cool” helmet arrives in the mail.
i always select the best answer.
From what I hear they cost under $80.
Bell is a good, established brand. People have been riding with Bells for years. HJC is also a good brand. I wiped out with an HJC and I came out without a scratch (on my face at least). I was doing about 50-60 when I crashed. Arais are great helmets, but you aren’t paying for a great helmet. They cost $600 because they have a bunch of stupid looking graphics all over them. Just make sure your helmet is DOT and it will be safe enough. if it is full face, I would get one that is Snell approved, as well. Snell goes a little further with their testing methods. If it is Snell approved, it will also be DOT approved.
