Market Analysis of 2010 Packaging Machinery Industry
The upgrade cycle of many packaging products become shorter and shorter in order to fit the fierce market competition. Such as cosmetics, three-year a production cycle or even per quarter, their large productivity requires good flexility and agility for packaging machinery, thus the life cycle of packing machinery could be much longer than the products in order to meet the economic requirements. To enable packaging machinery has good flexibility and agility, and improve the automation, the manufacturers need adopt microcomputer technology, the module technology and unit combination in large scale. In order to suit the change of various packaging products and types, the flexibility and agility of packaging machinery equipments often lie in the following three aspects:
The flexibility of amount. The packaging machinery can pack not only single product, but also different bulk packaging.
The flexibility of structure. The whole device is made up of modules, when use one or several units, it can adapt to the product changes.
The agility of product supply. Use modular combination to combine the units together for product supply. Such as the candy packaging machine, in a common basis assemble different unit with three feeding ports and four different folding packaging form. Therefore, with such a machine 8 to 10 different kinds of candy can be packed at one time. Under the surveillance of one camera, the packing machine can operate with multi-robot and command their actions, than pack various kinds of candy in different ways according to instruction. Just alter the process in the camera if the product is changed, so that the device will have good flexibility and agility. Such as Zidong Machinery, Fenglie Machinery.
Computer simulation techniques can be used to shorten the development and design cycle of machinery, by means of recording the various machine elements into the computer via database, and inputting the drawings after digitizing, the computer can automatically synthesize three-dimensional model. Then user can input the actual production data, indicators and all possible faults into computer, the three-dimensional computer model can follow the real work state to operate. It can demonstrate that the productivity could achieve, the number of wastes, whether the links in production chain can match for the process and where’s the ‘bottleneck’. Therefore, the customer can be clear at a glance from the curve displayed on the screen and can modify the model according to customer feedback. With the fast synthesis of computer model machines, the modification can be quickly and easily until it satisfies the customer or designer. The adoption of computer simulation design technology has greatly shortened the development and design cycle of packaging machinery.
The packaging machinery design should not only focus on its function and efficiency, but also its economy. The economy cannot easily take as the cost of machinery and equipment itself, more importantly, it’s operating cost, since equipment depreciation costs account for only 6% to 8%, and the other is operating cost.
